About Me

Hi, My Name is Gareth

I am currently studying law. My passion in life is music. All kinds - if it's good music it transcends genre. I am always looking for new music from all over the world. There isn't anything else (other than people) that can touch you and affect you in the same way. For the past 10 years or so New Found Glory have been THE band. The soundtrack to my life and many other cliches. It was them who made me stand up and really take notice of music - explore it that bit more.

I live in Leicester which is in the middle of England. It's not the best but we have some amazing friends and the best families. Also I support West Ham... a little too much!

This will basically just be an incoherent mess of ramblings as the above might suggest.
Music, Art, Videos and Thoughts that I have. Enjoy!!

The Internet

I guess it’s not just the Internet, but life in general… but people are SO pessimistic. People just seem to WANT to dislike things - this is the general internet vibe I’ve felt (from absolutepunk.net to football discussions).

It’s just different to how I view things I suppose. If I hear a new album I WANT to like it. If I meet a new person I WANT to like them. Pointless rant, but life is just way too short to be so negative. If you genuinely dislike something then fair enough - but look at the good points not the bad.

These last two weeks have been intense, 7 exams at Uni in 12 days (2 to go). BUT my life is fantastic. I know it’s such a cliche to talk about people who ‘don’t have a lot’ and how we shouldn’t take things for granted, but taking things for granted is inevitable and I do constantly. I have the most amazing girl in the world, the most amazing family in the world, amazing friends and there exists a constant stream of incredible music to keep me happy. Life is GOOD, life is GREAT.
